Looks like a genuine nickel example to me, but I agree that the rim nicks make it such that I'm not sure I would want the coin in any case.

What would you think the coin would be worth as it is? i would also say XF except for the rim
I dont want to overpay even if its legit

Does the rim nicks makes you have doubts about authenticty or just value?

In case nobody can replay to me in time what would the ideal weight would be?
Im thinking since it was 12 gr when striked it should be somwhere around 11.93- 11.99

It should be Plus or Minus 2 percent. That means between 11.76 g. and 12.24 g.

The aluminum bronze coin is a yellowish color. No one mentioned that that I noticed.

Im not planning on selling teh coin have not even bought it yet
If anybody bids il close bidding before hw wins it
Ebay is well known for a place of colecttor and millions of coins sold every day, im thinking that colecttors and experts will ask me details to establish if its real or not, and that way i willl know more ways of testing it from them nd il be able to do so before paying it

If all the other coins in this series that your dad gave you are nicer, you might want to continue looking for a better example of the 1939 with the idea that you can sell this coin latter to help pay for the nicer example if one is ever found. In any case, sounds like you may have inherited his passion for collecting coins, which is a great thing. Good for you on your purchase.

Thank you, i just hope the coin i just purchased is real!
It shows 12.09- 12.10 Grams on the scale, its 31mm in diameter,2 mm thick
I placed a high force neodyum magnet on top of this coin and a known sure nikel coin
The neodyum pulls both from the same distance
