Are there enough 4s here to matter? Most consecutive numbers Ive ever seen. Im not knowledgeable at all about paper money. Just curious!!! Its not in great shape as I got it from the ATM iwth a wallet fold and stuff so I know its not valuable BUT fun to me none the less.
Twenties and higher denominations are painful. You'd probably find a buyer on eBay for a bit over face value, but since FVFs are calculated based on total sale price (including shipping), you'd need to get at least 15-20% over face value just to break even. I once got a fairly nice $20 with six consecutive 8's. 8 is a lucky number in Chinese culture. I think I got $35 for the note on eBay. After FVF, PayPal, shipping, and taxes, I probably made $8 or so profit. 4 is an unlucky number in China, so, yeah, probably don't bother trying to sell this one.
Interesting, cool, and almost come to mind. If you like it and can afford to set $20 aside (most of us can) keep it. Otherwise set it free and makes someone else’s day.
UPDATE! It just magically turned into a dozen donuts, dish soap, kitty litter and $6.37 in change! Cool enough for me to keep a photo of in my paper finds file but it had to be released back out! It would be interesting if someone else posted it like 6 months from now in like Colorado or something.
