Brashear doubloon (gorgeous; everybody likes gold) 1909 S VDB Lincoln Cent (sentimental favorite; difficult for 10-year old to get) Good condition and authentic Athens tetradrachma owl 1907 high relief double eagle 1913 V Nickel . . . interesting how there was a brief period, say 1905-1915, when a lot of unusual US coins were minted.
