    Could have picked up a certified 1945-P MS65 FSB Merc in 1989 for less than 2 grand, but as a broke college student it wasn't gonna happen. I don't think I've seen one on the market in a looooong time. Woulda coulda shoulda.

    I am not going to be greedy, but before "i pack up and leave this earth" i want to own the following two coins:

    - U.S Continental Dollar (in any grade between F and EF)
    - Santiago Chile 1/2 real 1760

    that's all (everything else i mostly have already)

    . . . interesting how there was a brief period, say 1905-1915, when a lot of unusual US coins were minted.
