Yes to having it graded/certified. Check CGC as they run specials like ANACS and do not require a membership fee like the top two TPG's do. Selling it is a personal choice. If you are doing okay during this crisis hang onto it if your wife would agree.
Do your homework. Research the grading company you plan on using. Some of the major auction venues only accept certain third party graded notes. The ANA membership is FREE, and gives you submission rights to PMG...a well respected TPG.
But of course. I was not thinking short term but there will always be a point of disagreement on which TPG to use. By all means, if possible, use PMG this way. No argument there.
