I'm actually experiencing quicker turnaround times from Canada than I remember in the past. Perhaps I'm misremembering, but in c. 2011-14, a package from Incitatus would take about two weeks from ordering to delivery. A recent order was a week or slightly less, and Praefectus was pretty fast. Deutsche Post seems to take forever and a day (but small sample size) about 3 1/2 weeks. The one order I've done so far from the Netherlands took a month. Royal Mail takes about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks (London Ancient Coins). This time I'm trying DHL Express. I'm slowly becoming more comfortable with DHL Express for run of the mill coins. An order from NeroNumi (Norway) only took 3 or 4 days. The trade-off is: does one want to spend 30 bucks for delivery (DHL)? Regular postage from London Ancient Coins was $15, and I'm on a staycation, so I decided to treat myself with the expensive shipping for my recent orders.
