I like that too. Apparently I don't like upsets as much as most other people in the contest.

 

Wow I just can't leave my brackets alone! I just keep changing them. I bet I'll have had the correct teams picked at some point, but then I changed it.

 

I'm with you. I picked as many upsets as I dared and still only wound up in the mid 300's. 440 possible points from someone!?!!? That is upsets at it's best!

Time to change the brackets again folks! Looks like Syracuse's big man Melo didn't even make the trip. That puts Syrcause out before the Sweet 16... IMHO

I just heard that on espn radio. I already saved my bracket, is it too late to change? I had them making the final 4, lol. I don't think they can make it that far now.

 

It's not to late to change, you should be able to up until the first game on Thursday.

 

Syracuse's Fab Melo is ineligible for the tournament. Some of you may want to adjust your brackets, if it's still allowed, based on that. I don't know if it's possible, I haven't checked yet.

Same here. That is some serious luck they're hoping for!

By the way, are the extra points for the seeds only for the first round, or all of them (through the sweet sixteen, final four, etc.)

 

Anytime you pick an upset, you get extra points.

I wasn't going to modify it, but after I heard about the Syracuse situation and I had Syracuse winning it, I changed my mind

By the way, the results from today's play-in games:

Western Ky 59, Miss. Val 58

BYU 78, Iona 72

 

I don't really know that much about college basketball, just that the Oregon State Beavers are not in the tournament. But anyway, that Syracuse player named Fab Melo that is not eligible to play. I went ahead and adjusted my bracket some. Not sure though how much of an impact his not playing will have on the team. Not sure how much of an impact adjusting my bracket will have either. LOL.
