I started with empty Whitman’s folders and was very surprised when I finished with all that silver coinage.</p><p><br /></p><p>I completely filled a Roosevelt dime folder and I almost filled the second one, just one coin away. I also was one coin short in filling in a Mercury dime folder, 1916–D. In Franklin halves I only need four to complete the set.</p><p><br /></p><p>And with the Liberty Walking halves, I only needed 17 coins to have the entire set. After going through all that junk silver a found a few. So last week I opened a small package that I’ve had for 6 years and got a big surprise. I had purchased the key and semi-key dates in low grade so now I only have 8 coins left. </p><p><br /></p><p>Looking at today’s prices I paid about half price for them.
