The type 1 has Liberty’s right breast uncovered and the public complained so harshly that early in the year it was redesigned. Her breast was covered and the eagle and stars on the reverse were redone.</p><p><br /></p><p>The colors on the coin, all from natural toning, are very bright and vibrant in hand.
