Well, since no one else is playing, here are the answers from left to right: Vespaisan, RIC 19. Vespasian, RIC 777, Vespasian RIC 847. Sorry to say no Titus Caesar there.
Thanks Bing you have a nice way about you! If these are fake I don't care I still like them. Plus I didn't get hurt . I will be careful on the Caligula! I last thought "Soft soapy Fakes" are from Sandcasting who would do that 50 years ago for an inexpensive coin at the time!? No one uses that method any more.
Why thank you. I try to be civil, but my wife can tell you I have a streak that no one should cross (I don't mean her. I've never been mean to my wife of 48+ years)
I'm coming late to the authenticity party. The Claudius and Otho are modern cast fakes. The others may be OK, but individual pictures would help to determine for sure.
Sorry @AngelDeath but I also think the Otho is fake. The portrait looks wrong and the full legends are very suspicious as well.
Also, it may be wise to post them in their own thread. This thread's title may not attract the folks who could help.
Looking to replace the Otho since I RESPECT your honesty on the others your thoughts on this coin would be appreciated!
A modern Cast too. Are these all from the same source? If so, I'd suspect everything received from there!
Just saw this on E-bay with this All items are unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic as described. For added security, we offer a full money back guarantee if a recognized authority questions the authenticity of any item sold.
Guess they are banking on people being lazy. Anyway thanks again goodnight and back to the drawing board for me (because with my limited knowledge) I strongly suspected the the Otho and Cladius , a lessor degree on the Nero still can't see it. The Augustus I like the way it looks but why collect fake ancients! lol
