3 UNKNOWN ISLAMIC COINS

Looking at your second coin with some more attention, i second your association with al-salih isma'il. However, the calligraphy is a bit weird for proper Arab. That coupled with the low weight makes it most likely this is a so called "crusader imitation" of this Ayyubid coin.

Thank you THCoins for your comments. I believe I have found an attribution for the 2nd coin pictured. By entering 1/2 Dirham Ayyubid coins in Google and searching through dozens of links, I believe I have found a match by pattern recognition. It appears that the coin is a 1/2 Dirham of al-Kamil Muhammad I, 1218-1238 (AH 615-635). The first digital image below was the discovery image, followed by a coin from a Stephen Album auction. Trust members will agree with my findings. All comments welcome. Yes THC...I saw references on various links to Crusader imitations...you may very well be correct. As I am not familiar with this series, I am unable to render an opinion either way.
