Some of my collection also came from his Dad, who had a general store and was wise enough to save silver dollars and halves, which is how I got over 90% of my Morgans. Back to the coin, could it lose enough weight and thickness though to drop 0.5g if underground? And yes, the coin looks different in person. Also think I found the L in the ribbon which is a small consolation if nothing else. I won't bother any more with this coin unless someone sees something of interest.[/QUOTE]
