I received 3 new coins today, all from different sellers. One from Germany so I was surprised it came so fast.

The first one is Cherronesos, one I;ve grown jealous of seeing here on CT a lot :)

    Cherronesos, Thrace, c. 400 - 338 B.C.

Silver hemidrachm, SNG Dreer 107, Weber -; McClean -, BMC Thrace -, Dewing -, SNG Cop -, SNG Milan -, SNG Lockett -, SNG Dreer -, SNG Berry, F, small edge split, 2.312g, 12.8mm, Cherronesos mint, c. 400 - 338 B.C.; obverse lion forepart right, head turned back left, tongue protruding; reverse quadripartite incuse with alternating shallow and deeper sunken quarters, pellet in one sunk quadrant, I over pellet in the opposite sunk quadrant

Next is a tiny list Barbarous Falling Horseman type (crumby pic sorry)

Barbaric Imitation of Roman Constantius II Fallen Horseman Type. 4th century AD. AE 10mm (0.77 gm). Obv.: diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev.: Soldier spearing horseman.

Lastly, another FH, from Cyzicus. It's rated R5 on Danes FH spread sheet. Though nicer in had, it's a bit ugly. It was cheap ($15 shipped) and very rare so I can't complain about the condition.

Cool coins! Agreed with @Bing , you have a cool Morse Code Cherronesos going on there! Purdy nice! I think the code is for the letter "R" ...

I've been very tempted a few times to snag one of those Cherronesos coins but haven't yet. I think the imitation is really interesting.

They are fun, and very affordable in F to XF grades. I kind of overpaid for mine, but so will anyone trying to get gXF (what some of you call UNC.
