Nope, my $1850 was outbid......would not even let me bid that much, it was already passed up, lol Yep, the one at the show then I guess.
Quality Coin Quality coin. Genuine diagnostics are important to know in case you ever find a raw and attractive 3-leg. My favorite diagnostics for the 3-leg are: 1. The motto is slightly higher off the buffalo's back due to the excessive polishing 2. The Indian's neck is a little scruffy. 3. The correct leg is missing. Any other good diagnostics? Best regards, Collect89
I just joined the forum today & my personal image does not seem to display. To the left it just says "collect89" Most everyone else has their name and photo displayed. Does anyone know why this is? Best, Collect89
The rear leg is ratty....looks like it has been eaten by moths, AND, on the genuines...there is a series of die hits/scratches/blemishes of some sort that appears that the buffalo is taking a leak...thus the saying, if the leg is missing, he better be pi%$%^
LOL Wait untill after Long Beach. I will post pics of my 1975 Bust Dollar, I have my feelers out on some better type coins. Like I said in several other posts, the Lincoln set is as complete as I want to take it, now on to the rest of numismatics !!
Sounds like got buffaloed. I mean, all that hoping, and last minute, wouldn't you know it, somebody gets the leg up on you.
I might be going out on a limb, but I say there is trouble afoot with these puns. (BTW, nice job. :thumb Phoenix
I wonder how is it that a 3 legger can be in circulation so long as to get a 58 mark? How long had it been in circulation before someone found it and pulled it out???
