Γ left</p><p>Alexandria 72</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>This one of Probus is the most sentimental. A friend of my family had passed away whom had a small collection of ancients, and his wife gave me this one. The silvering made for a difficult time photographing it.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]580047[/ATTACH]</p><p>PROBUS AE silvered antoninianus. Antioch mint. IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG, radiate draped bust right. Reverse - CLEMENTIA TEMP, Probus standing left holding eagle-tipped scepter, receiving globe from Jupiter, who stands right holding scepter. A pellet between, XXI in exergue.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
