Maybe rolled thick plantchet? Wait for paddyman98 he collects things like this. I know he would want to see the coin.

10% high is within tolerance? What are the high and low tolerance numbers please.
    Thanks.

Tolerance on a copper Linc. Cent is 2 grains,
or .13 grams. (normal is 48 grains or 3.1 grams)

Your's is .17 of a gram over the tolerance.

Nice does that make it an error coin or should i get it checked to make sure its not a different planchett or forgery

Unlikely it's a penny forgery. It's possible the planchet was rolled "thick" and it's slightly heavy. Probably a minor error. Def. a keeper. Don't know the value.
Unlikely it is a different planchet, because if it is a foreign planchet it won't be the same diameter as a US cent. (if this lines up with other cents).

If you mean a Panama centismo, then yes that should be the same size and weight as an LC. So why would that be heavy?
