Just tried it lol. Sorry I'm brand new to coin roll hunting, this might sound dumb but besides magnetic, What does this mean about the coin?
Scroll down this page and you'll see your coin. Edit: this is a better site: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces82.html
Congratulations on your first world coin. By the way when I visited Spain they called it Dos Centavos in Castilian (Spanish) not a penny.
Pretty normal - every 2 (euro-)cent coin has such a groove on the edge. The edges of other denominations are plain, milled, etc. Christian
Almost. The 1 cent, 2 cent and 5 cent coins were never made this way (note the size of the words "euro and "cent"); the others are the first generation euro coins. The first change to the obverse was the modified ring of stars (2010-), and the current €1 and €2 coins have the portrait of king Felipe. Christian
