My wife is a Broncos fan. We were living near Seattle when Seattle defeated the Broncos at the Superbowl in '14. Actually we even went to preseason game Denver vs Seahawks. The preseason game was during my mid-tour away from Korea and it was a poor showing from Denver. They weren't even trying. I wasn't surprised with the outcome at the Superbowl.
I'm sorry, I guess I do blame myself. Definitely got to crack down on that bumping by replies. Accusing someone of being a troll is a preferred way. The New members are asked to introduce themselves rule inforcement is what I'm blaming this train wreck on. Grammar Police.....Doubled Die Corretion... Posting a post about not posting replies to OP's posts, is actually posting in reply to posts too tho... right? [emoji23]
LOL, This should be posted in General Disscussion. Jwt708 this is the discovery thread in Error Coins Highjacking Police They get paid a lot for not trying too. They met their quota
Trust me when I say that the US Mint has NOT been using a single minting press since 1909. They have many hundreds of presses. Coins of different denominations can and often are struck on different presses as coins of all denominations can be struck simultaneously. Typically, since the late 50's, presses were devoted specifically to producing cents. How else could they have minted 1.2 billion Lincolns in 1959 at the Denver Facility? Coin "hoppers" (devices for holding thousands upon thousands of Type 2 Blanks) on the other hand, can be shared between presses of different denoominations. I expect that any "theory" you might be building revolving around the sharing of design elements for coins being minted on the same press might be just a wee bit flawed.
Here is a video showing how they make coins. There is a better video somewhere but I can't find it. http://www.history.com/shows/modern-marvels/videos/coin-production
thanks pennsteve I have not seen a show in a long time, it was a nice two minute break. oh thank you all next time now this is just a suggestion can you get a video in color? thank you.
This one is in color. http://www.history.com/shows/modern-marvels/videos/coin-production . With 3 mints in operation, there are at least 3 machines in use
But did you inform him about the number of machines?????? p.s. I didn't look at the entire thread. Now I just looked, and see where you posted it. Sorry..... was simply responding to the one comment about wanting color.
If you inform him of the number of machines he will become obsessed with the lines between the machines and why they happened and what is the purpose of the lines and how many lines actually line up and why are they there how do we know who did what with the lines to put the lines where lines should not be where did the lines go who knows ok I don't know who can tell what the lines mean do you see the lines because well ok no yes the lines of course they mean something even if you don't think they do it's put there for a purpose what is the purpose I will find out and show the proof in time the lines will prove in time to be shown. And I don't really want to read another rambling post like that.
