Another one? Did they make a proof set of quarters being struck over another denomination from another year and mint that we don't know about?

    JCro57 Making Errors Great Again

If two different years are that far apart, I always suspect shenanigans. I can see a 1976 on a 1975, but beyond 2 years apart I just don't see it as accidental.

Are they collectible and valuable as unique items? Yes.

Would I love to have one? Of course!

Are they worth above the $10,000 range? I believe ones this extreme can be, Yes.

However, these Mint-assisted errors are kinda pushing the envelope in terms of the true spirit of what a Mint error is supposed to be: non-purposeful and truly accidental.

Does Mike Byers drastically over-inflate the value he places on his unique errors? No question about it.

How does a struck dime get into the proof minting area, and then is not
discovered and destroyed? Aren't the proof coins given more scrutiny before they are assembled into sets? It stands to reason this coin would have to be discovered at the mint and not escaped into "circulation". It would probably be smuggled out.

But in the real world error markets $2,000-5,000 ?
