On October 11th of 2019 I found a 1951 Silver Washington Quarter in a Coinstar Machine in Wal-Mart when on vacation in Puerto Rico.. Today I found a Coinstar machine in a K-mart in Manhattan NY.. When I checked the reject bin I found another Silver Washington Quarter! Dated 1942 Some other finds in the reject bin.. Here is the thread with my first 25C find https://www.cointalk.com/threads/25c-1951-d-coinstar-in-pr-find.348421/#post-3764660
I got ahold of 35 mercury dimes and a 1897 barber a couple weeks ago at work. My shift manager called me in to take a look... Sure felt loved. Now, all the dime rolls at work are PACKED with silver. 25 or so Roosevelts that made it though. No quarters found though. Awesome find, willing to share with a friend? jk... unless...
Our K-mart closed a few years ago. Sat vacant until they put a Hobby Lobby in it. Lost Sears at the first of the year. It was an anchor store in our local mall. On the topic at hand, I found 28 cents tonight at the Coinstar in the Kroger. Tossed my new found wealth into the change jar.
Wow congrats! Meow is hitting a very dry spell silver wise catsonally. Meow has not pawed a AG in many, many months.
And all i got today was 4 zincolns from a Wal-Mart coinstar. I'm more curious why they were rejected rather than the obvious dama.... I mean errors on them.
It had 3 floors when it opened. Then it downgraded to 2 floors. I guess that's better than closing it. Near East Village downtown.
