Swish, I am sure you know this, but you were sooooooo close with your first guess. If you had not thought that the 1943-P was full steps, you would have been the winner. It is curious that the area of the coin that disqualified this coin from full steps is routinely ignored on 1943-P Doubled Eye. In fact, my MS67 5FS shows the same area of weakness/bridge on the 2nd & 3rd step between the 3rd & 4th pillar. I would like to send you a consolation prize if you that is okay.
