I think it is a summer lull, that Reverse Proof will remain about $500.00 raw, I don't that one ever see it dropping or ever getting a bargain there.

At 250,000 that number is so low compared to the 6-10 million of SAE's purchased every year.

So in turn I believe there will never be enough of that reverse proof coin. The burished coin is no slouch either at 409,000 minted.

lemmyk I think that not many people had theres graded so that makes them even rarer

the w proof & the uncerculated have to have been sent in by 11-11-06 in order for you to have them graded 20th anniversary what do you think about that

prices are coming out of the summer lull, they dipped nicely but are very slowly climbing. The original set is still low due to people probably thinking they have been cherry picked multiple times already.

I have no idea of what you are talking about?!? or where you are even going with your comments? I am not sure if you agree or disagree with me. Your last comment I think agrees with me?!?

I see that the set is now at $599.00 are you saying that they are high or low? I also don't care about any Pop. report. The set is a sure fire winner, I own 5 ungraded still in the box, obviously ungraded and by me holding them as are many others the price will climb.

My point is there are millions of SAE collectors and two of the three coins in the set are very low mintage.

    REPLY!?!?

there's no date for the reverse proof...

as long as you send it in, it gets the 20th anniversary label

the UNC has to come in an unopened box to be given the label along with the proof, enough said.

My reply would be that I seriously doubt there are millions of ASE collectors. I suspect the number would be well under 100,000.

My question now is what's leading to the trade drop for the 3rd month in a row? Greysheet bid is now $380....
