I am sure by now, that the new ASE will not accept Enrollments. The Enrollments that you have on record is only good for Type 1 ASEs.

David, you've got a credit card that expires in 2039??? 18 years, Whoa!!!! I'd like to think there'll be some new security features developed in almost two decades! Sorry for the derailment. Back to our regularly scheduled program.
"Jim where do you see ASE-S? I see 2021 w proof?" I am sorry for leaving out the apostrophe after ASE. If it was meant to be S, it should have been capitalized. Sorry for my error. And my wife taught high school English for 34 years....
My card expires this year and I had to dance a jig with the Mint to delete the card and enter it again before they let me have the ASE. My credit card got charged for the ASE, but I have had a charge by the Mint backed out several months ago. Luckily, it wasn't for something like the ASE.
Update after sitting active enrollment since Feb. 8th and few more e-mails. Finally it went to processing Feb.11th and 3 emails later last night it went to processed and this morning shipped! Must have come out of assay's desk Lol at any rate patience is perseverance.
Update we knew this was coming! The greeders vs the collectors. Had I not spent hours with Customer service and dozens of emails about my auto enrollment to fill the last of a 21 year set I would have been in the $149.00 greeders camp!
Belated reply/comment...didn't see this the first time...this revelation (long suspected/known) is somewhere between a shame and a sham. I only WISH I could get a couple of them now from the "greeders" at $149...last I saw they were going for upwards of $225-$250. I did end up trying on that first day...originally wanted just two, one for each of my two WP/career-Army sons...had purchased them two of the first in 1986 when they were little boys...two more in 2005 and 2008 when they graduated to 1LTs...and now 35 years later was hoping for two of the last originals with the HE reverse. The mint essentially "said" (e-selectively...long story) at checkout that I could buy eight but not two..."no longer available" for just two for you was their message. A sham shame.

Mike Muzak on the Coin Collector was even bragging about it on the show and how he was gonna get his before you could from the mint and they would have the brand new "advanced release" provenance label. between auto enrollment and the dealers, most of them were spoken for before Feb.11 at noon and only a few left for anyone else. even on Feb 11th, the dealers were buying more of them, 99 at a time. Literally every dealer has a "advanced release" label and looking for $300-$600 bucks for them. NGC doesn't have this Label on their site yet even, I don't find info from ANACS either on what it exactly means.... I know what it means, it means the coins were at the graders before the official release date. https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-coins/advance-american-eagle-sales-offered-for-bulk-dealers yep. confirmed the mint gave the large bulk bullion buyers advanced purchasing, but the mint isn't going to confirm how many dealers participated, or how many 2021 W silver eagles they all bought days before anyone else had a shot at them. So shady.... I'm not paying a cent more than issue price from the mint for one even if that means I never get one of them. I think it's a slap in the face of the collectors in the hobby... "here ya go guys, $73 each, get a special label and you can sell it to them next for $300-$600! have fun!" Sold out within minutes because it was already mostly sold out days before it even went on sale.....
Watch the coming gold release you'll probably see a dupe as The US Mint could care less about collector's they're M.O. pay the dealers!
Only a small percentage of the mintage less than 10%. They also charged the dealers more than issue price and made them come pick up the orders themselves That's just not true that it was mostly sold out already. There would have to be over 120k subscriptions for it for that to be the case
Call it dumb luck! I'm new to collecting Silver Eagles. I got an email from the US Mint saying that there would be a sale that day. I opened an account 30 minutes before they opened up the proof sale and figured I'd see if I could buy a few. I was able to get a couple and checkout within 10 minutes of the start. They showed up quickly and I am very thankful!
