He claims it is so I'm saying, "Troll" and will no longer deal with any of his posts, other than to maybe include my statement of :banghead:

I think I've hit the end of my "retro-vintage" ads, but here are some ACTUAL vintage ads for your enjoyment.

Oh wait, you wanted a LEGIT early Skype? Well here it is . . . . .

Did they say "star"? They must have know about YouTube . . . . . LOL

My gut is aching. I'm old enough to remember some of the ads. I also, remember my first computer too. I bought an IBM computer with one floppy drive with 256KB, and a monochrome monitor from Sears in 1983. My wife almost killed me. Anyway, I took gobs of classes to learn how to upgrade the computer. I added more memory and a 10MB hard drive. I installed Supercalc (first Excel software), a word processing software and a database package called dBase II. I upgraded it to color and got a larger hard drive and other things. I loved messing with computers. I loved the database software. It helped me keep track of my coins. Anyway, this is the best line of info I have seen yet, mostly, because I remember a great deal of the ads. Great job. A break in the action.

And this is a perfect example of why looting is so much easier today than in 1950.
