    Yes It appears to be MD and is very common.

    Its an off center or broadstrike error most likely can you get pictures of the reverse.

    The OPs coin looks like a combo of worn die and MD.

    Barbie’s coin is MAD or maybe an out of collar strike?

    The OP coin is caused by a worn die. That's why it has MD.

    As it is part of the hub single squeeze process, which basically ended true hub doubling, I would say it is MD

    hey jim a baranak great pictures. yea to me i see a worn die causing the MD. i would keep it maybe in a box with other good examples of this type of issue. good luck man

    @Barbie L Neff. Welcome to Coin Talk. You probably get more replies if you started a new thread. You could start it on the error coins forum asking a question, e.g., "what is this called" or something similar. If you need help starting a new thread, just ask. Most of us are more than willing to help. :)
