I noticed my grocery store was giving out 2020 Quarters in change yesterday. The check out guy have me a Weir Farms W in change, so I bought all the quarters from his drawer plus one roll. The loose from his drawer gave up 9 W quarters plus 1 in the roll. So today I went back and got 6 more rolls and there were 16 W's in those! I'm feeling lucky! local
My wife got our first American Samoa quarter in change earlier this week. No nickels or dimes yet, but plenty of cents.
Nice! I’ve come across a couple 2020 quarters, but they’ve all been from the Denver mint. But I’m still looking!
I am sore at you guys. I look at every coin, and especially, quarters, and have never gotten a cool coin yet. I have gotten a few 196X pennies from time to time. A few years ago, I was cashing a check at our credit union, and a former high school student of my wife's told me she had gotten a "gold" quarter. I was curious, so I asked her and she told me that she gave a regular quarter to her customer in exchange for the "gold" quarter. When I got the "gold" quarter home, I looked the quarter over and found that the "gold" quarter is a "gold" coated coin. Even so, I filed the "gold" quarter with my other interesting quarters.
Earlier today I saw a post of someone who found several rolls of these in a box while CRH'ing. I guess they arent as thinly spread as last year.
Dang Cheech, you're killing it this year. I have 1 2020-D Samoa that a former member found in a box. The only 2020 and a "D" to boot. He gave it to me for my son's book. That is the only 2020 I've seen.
