Forget the date. I'm more interested in the obverse where it looks like someone counterstamped it with "V75"? Do you know where this came from or what it refers to?
It’s a privy mark for the 75 anniversary of WWII victory. that mark carries a great premium in higher grades. yoyncan find it in quarters as well as ASE coins. The only circulating issues are the W-mint quarters. very great circulation find
I would say no. Keep in mind that all-in, grading costs AROUND $35 per coin. unless you can make more than that, it won’t be worth it. you can sell this on eBay raw for around $20, so I’d go that route If you find one that is in really superb condition, I mean MS65 and above, then you can grade for some potentially good profits.
Okay so going back to your original post, I don’t believe you have a die clash, for what that’s worth. If you can go back to this bank and get more quarters, do it! And then release them back into circulation when you’re done
And the coin is not a broadstrike. From the images it is clear the reeded edge is present which means it was struck in the collar.
Not sure what you mean - 'the collar like that' The coin appears to be normally struck - I can see the reeding. Can you be more specific as to what you're referring to?
The rim looks slightly off Centered. It's called a MAD or misaligned Die strike. Very normal and it happens so much most of us don't even notice it unless it's off a lot.
