Found this beauty in a coin roll today. Thoughts on the condition? 20210102_121231.jpg 20210102_120959.jpg

Is that a privy mark on the left side of the obverse?

Thank you! I'm considering having it graded, do you suppose it's worth the effort?

I do not think it is IMO.

Not worth grading but definitely worth protecting and keeping. Put it in a flip or a 2 x 2.

Nice find but I missed something. When did the Mint start to put Victory privies on "W" buisness strike quarters? Are there now two varieties of this same quarter?

Afaik West Point minted 2 million of each of the 5 national parks quarters for 2020. Only 2 million!

I knew about the "W" mintages but just never heard anything about the WW2 Privy mark being added.

Unless it would grade MS68, it wouldn't be worth it. You can find certified MS67's all day long for about $10. I don't think yours will make MS68.

Are those "sold items" or are they what the seller is asking? I used to submit business strike SQ's to NGC, 50+ at a time, and I've still got a bunch of MS67 left that usually sell for $10. I give them away as gifts.

Oops! I didn't take into consideration that this is a West Point quarter with the WWII privy. However, even if they are selling for a high of $70, the grading fees would eat up most of it and the eBay fees would eat up the rest.
