2020 P MBR Rim is smooth and appears to have extra rim

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by DAVID J SAUNDERS, Mar 7, 2021.

  1. I pulled this 2020P MBR quarter from the other quarters when I saw that it looked like it had a double rim. Then, when I looked for the ridges on the edge, only half were there, while the other half had no ridges. I've submitted several photos hopefully they will be good enough. What would this error be called does it have any value (besides a quarter). The extra thick and double rim is interesting to look at.

    Yup partial tilted collar :)
It's always nice when you can pull them fresh from circulation before they get all dinged up.

It's a good thing you included a photo of the reverse. Otherwise, I would not have had the slightest idea what an MBR quarter is.

But it's upside down. Partial collar error.
