The chip on your coin is in a different location than the OPs coin, so it isn't exactly the same. They are from different dies. Sometimes, it's better to take your time and be sure of what you're posting (just a suggestion that might help). Chips on the Nickel reverse aren't that uncommon and they are sometimes referred to has a "hornets nest". @eric6794 Cool find even if it doesn't add any premium
Oh, I see. Thank you! So, on this 2019 ATB Quarter, that's also a Hornets' Nest on the left of the bell tower roof and the cross? That's my very first die chip find (if it is one).
I was reluctant to call my die chip a wasp/hornets nest because that suggest extra value. Typically for it to be referred to as a wasp/hornets nest it has to be apart of a building usually where a hornets nest would be built in real life.
Thanks for the additional clarification. So mine doesn't technically qualify either since it's right on the roof of the bell tower.
