Thanks. sounds a little better than pmd. I know it's really nothing to get excited about. I was more curious of how. Seems almost like a strike through.But underneath the lettering. Make sense? lol
then when the strike occurs, which is many TONS of pressure, this pushes metal around ... why ... how ... would a mark be still untouched if metal is moved around?

Better pictures do help. Not trying to get rich off this lol. Trying to get an understanding Guess I will put it in a 2x2 and mark it Defective planchet.
That last photo changes everything. I would say that's a defect in the planchet. Not worth a lot but nice to find.
