    OP - Look up "incuse mechanical doubling". That is what your coin is showing.

    Hey Y’all
    New here and first post. I inherited what I assumed was a coin collection from my father, who passed a month ago, and Ive realized that what he really had was an accumulation instead of a collection. It was ALL stored together in several large socks! Lol. Anyway, I got one for you to look at. Really two side by side for comparison. Don’t know if that’s a die crack on the one one right....and that’s the normal one for comparison. Could it be a dime planchette it’s stamped on?? Both are 3.07
    it’s the right size of a dime. But I haven’t measured the diameter. Much respect to everyone who uses this forum. Thank you in advance.
