Back when I would get 200 dollars in cents a week from the bank, the earliest I got new year coins was around mid-Feb. I do NOT miss those days
I usually see the new year's cents around summer in my area. I've never seen one in January. I don't think I actually saw a 2018 cent in circulation before August or September last year. But I also don't use a lot of physical money anymore, but I do peek into those "give a cent take a cent boxes" at cash registers.
Ain't seen no 2019's yet but I'm seein' stuff I don'rt want to see in 2019. Stock up on silver and gold my friends. Ya didn't hear it from me.........and that's the scotch talkin'.........
Received my first 2019's yesterday. Got a pair of the Northern Mariannas quarters in change. Both were P mints. Interesting that the first quarters found were the second release. It is also unusual for it to take this long to find the new coins in this region. I'm normally seeing cents by February. But no cents, nickels, or dimes yet.
Nothing here in Polk county.........going back north on Sunday. Maybe the hunting will be better. Gotta say, you Florida folks have such lovely weather. I've really enjoyed my sojourn in this neck of the woods.
