Nice struck thru. I’ve seen like 5-6 with that same struck thru. Must of sat on the die for a while.

What do you think the grade will be upon it's return?

The coin has several scratches that hurt its grade and all of them were made at the mint. All mint errors seem to be given some leeway that regular coins don't get. The die ajustment strike is a great example of how the graders have to give some mint damage lee way. I'm hoping for high grades

Post them here when you get them back. Which TPG'er and when did you submit them?

Who did you send them to?

You can get any coin graded but did you also pay to get them attributed? That's a different service that has a different fee. If you don't ask and pay for that they won't get attributed.

I sent them to NGC because they are a 3 hour drive if anything goes wrong. I sent all three to mint errors.I will definitely post them when they come back, I'm so nervous. They might back charge me if the graders determine that the coin is worth over $2000. They also might put it in a regular box instead of a West Point labeled box. This is what customer service explained to me. The W label box is supposed to be a default choice but I haven't paid for the box yet. It's scary!!

I sent them to NGC. They told me that a strike through error is graded by the mint error department and that I can only send mint errors with this coin. If I wanted to send my doubled die Variety coin that I would have to send them to Varieties Attibution department. They don't have population reports on mint errors because there are to many kinds, they said. This is my second submission and my first to NGC.
