Has anybody had any luck returning a coin to NGC for a higher grade or would it be a waste of time/money ? Would like to get a 70 but sometimes it is what it is. My 2019 S Eagle, Enhanced Reverse Proof came back 69. Guess I should consider myself lucky to even get one. LOL
I feel like I won the lottery twice by first lucking out and getting a coin then sending it in and getting it graded proof 70. But then I screwed myself by not designating for the COA to be encapsulated and labeled. Contacted NGC when they received it and told them to make a change which they said they would but they didn't. Live and learn.
Or a bit of undigested potato...... Be happy with what you got (OP) my friend. According to what the nuts out there are paying for such a designation, you've done rather well. Me? I keep such coins in OGP, but that's just me. I never play the 'grading game'........
And, that is why I always say, "If you can't tell the difference between a 69 and a 70, buy the 69." Chris
