exception not the rule? I have argued there can be lamination errors on zincolns to a couple people. I have searched google to come up with nothing except your coin. Im going to quote something from the coin community site

Lamination errors occur on copper alloy cents, but not on copper plated zinc cents. They occur because of a planchet defect caused by impurities or internal stresses in the alloy which causes metal to separate along horizontal planes of weakness.Jan 12, 2019
