Nice find. Nothing wrong with putting it in a 2x2 and saving it if you think it's interesting. Unfortunately, it really isn't worth more than face value

 

And at the base of the "T" there is either a die chip or a strike-through.
Not sure which although I'm leaning towards a strike-through.
It looks too regular for a die chip.

 

It looks like a stain to me!
