I almost pulled the trigger on these but after seeing a few pictures now, I'm glad I didn't. The reverse of the quarters look OK I think, but the rest of the coins look kinda crappy IMO.
Maybe that's what it is. I liked the look of the 2011 ASE reverse proofs. I would love to get one since that is my son's birth year. However, they are way out of my price range now.
The silver eagle reverse proofs are cool. But not all coins turn out well in reverse. I think the reverse Buffalo gold proof is one of the ugliest coins around.
I just looked. There are five sets available on eBay with an opening bid of $1 each. The strange noise that woke you up this morning may have been the flippers choking on the sets.
To me.... It's worth having a bunch. It's the first set of it's kind and it has the lowest minted cent included. Time will tell with this set!!!
I have noticed you love posting videos! I'm guessing you work for a media corp LOL... I would love to press play, but my time is way to valuable to watch. Thanks for the share tho LOL..
I worked for UPS, as a package driver, for thirty years. Far and away from 'media'....How dare you sir........
What can BROWN DO FOR YOU! I love my UPS guy He gets the envelope every Christmas from me! 30 years with UPS.... I salute you!!
I didn't buy the set. The only coin I wanted was the Lincoln which I purchased a PCGS slabbed 69 for $20.00.
@Donny Because I'm a cheap so & so. Actually the 70's just cost too much and the extra cost is just not worth it to me.
They are way overpriced. They are unavailable at the moment. They will probably make more depending on the demand/inquiry. That is why I didn't buy. I'd rather buy a BU Morgan which is what I will buy next week.
