Yeah, Seattlite was quoting my post about going through the extra added effort, it was pretty harsh on me, and judgemental towards my inputs here. It was a bit off key. I don't know why he/they didn't confront me about it in a PM though, instead put everyone else through this turmoil. I want to apologize, but seems fitting to just ignore it.

 

My SS gift arrived today.

 

I'm going to be busy over the weekend and into next week so today was the day to open and take pictures. Thank you, Santa!!! These gifts are amazing and right up my alley!!

First, a good ol' coin album with a suggestion in the card that I hand it off to my little girl. This was a fantastic idea, because I did and she immediately started jumping up and down. I then got a box of coins in flips and let her fill it... she loves it. Thanks!!!



Next, @physics-fan3.14 's book. I just found out about this recently and had been meaning to pick it up, so this is a wonderful gift to receive and I am excited to dive into it this weekend.



And... the coins!

A CircCam 1851 Frankfurt 3 Kreuzer. This thing is awesome, tons of character. It'll be a great addition to my 19th century World CircCam box.


A crusty original 1849 Large Cent:

A 1982 Swaziland 2 cent (daughter got a real kick out of this one due to the shape. )

A CircCam 1867 Three Cent Nickel that I love- imagine the stories this thing could tell. It may just usurp one I have in AU in my Dansco thanks to having "the look."


Last but not least, a lovely 1946-D Booker T Washington Commemorative 50c with the perfect look/condition to match the other three commemoratives I have in my album.



And with that addition, short of the Seated and Trade Dollars which will have to wait (holes currently filled with an additional Morgan, Peace and Ike) ..... my 7070 is complete. Now THAT's the way to close out the year!!!!!

Two packages arrived today bearing the mark of Secret Santa. I'm totally clueless as to why I would receive two gifts........I'll bet one of you guys is pulling my leg..........

 

Maybe Doug sent you a gag gift.
