Meyer, Meyer, Meyer.....60 year olds should stay off of scooters. I, myself, have instances on two legs........ Kidding aside, I hope you are feeling better.
Funny, I haven't gotten new reply alerts for this, either, though it's on my Watched Threads list. No incoming S.S. package here yet, but I'm not sweating that at all. My outgoing one should be at least halfway to Thailand by now, I would think.
I personally would encourage secret Santa recipients to post if they had recieved their present. Makes Santas rest easier if they know of its safe arrival! Still waiting on mine, but as @lordmarcovan private messaged me, 'tis the season of usps.
Except I'm not your Secret Santa. But yes, I hope that piece I sent you gets shaken loose soon from wherever it's been stuck in the USPS cogs and gears and such.
I broke down and opened my gift. Sorry. I was having a very stressful day paying a large medical bill and I needed something to cheer me up. Wow! I scored big. Thanks secret Santa. You made my day, week, month, and year with these errors coins. I will also use the white canvas bag it came with for something coin related. Sorry for the very low quality photos from my flip phone. On to the goodies... 1st up and my favorite. Lincoln Cent Broadstruck with obverse brockage. very cool looking. I understand the broadstruck part, but not the brockage part. How does that happen ? and then (2000-2010) $1 dollar planchet. very cool. Is it for the Sac dollars or Presidential dollars ? and more...
up next a 2002-P collar cud on the edge. very cool. I have never heard of them being on the edge... next 5 cent off center 60% off strike. I like these a lot. up next is there capped die strike. very interesting looking. how does this happen ? Thank you so much secret santa. These error coins really cheered me up. Thank you for being so generous. I got misty in my eyes. A huge incoming warm hug to you. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends. Happy Holidays, Happy whatever day they call it there in your area. Thank you.
Nothing here (hear?) yet either, but I ain't worried. Ain't sent my gifts out yet, so you 'trembling bones' can continue to 'tremble'..........
Two packages arrived today. One was the item I ordered for my gifee(will drop off at post office tomorrow) and the other was from my very own Secret Santa. Should I wait until my giftee gets his/hers, or open it up now?
