2018 D penny error?

    Looking at these newer coins I have been noticing that they are not stamped very well and I have a few. CM181012-054839001.jpg CM181012-055826001.jpg

    Looks ok to me o_O
    Die do get worn a lot so you might see Die Deterioration Strikes which is common.

    All the newer cents are struck with a highly corrosive zinc core. They have the life span of an M&M candy.

    So true, I metal detect and these coins deteriorate quickly in the soil. The worst metal coin out there.
