2018 D penny error?

    Looking at these newer coins I have been noticing that they are not stamped very well and I have a few. CM181012-054839001.jpg CM181012-055826001.jpg

    Looks ok to me o_O
    Die do get worn a lot so you might see Die Deterioration Strikes which is common.

    All the newer cents are struck with a highly corrosive zinc core. They have the life span of an M&M candy.

    It would be helpful for you to point out what you think the error(s) are instead of a blanket request to ID the errors for you. As a collector, that's your job, not ours. We are here to discuss numismatic topics and, occasionally, help new members with the real tough ones.

    So true, I metal detect and these coins deteriorate quickly in the soil. The worst metal coin out there.
