So, I'm on my second bank box of quarters this past month and noticing how badly these two years are doing in circulation. The obverse is taking a heck of a beating on every single issue. The reverse are great. Could it just be the (bad) luck of the draw or is anyone else searching finding this to be the same? I've found some nice die cracks and chips but have to toss them back because they are so beat up. Before these years I'm having no problem, still plenty of nice B.U. ATB's. No luck with W's so far.
I'm thinking it's the luck of the draw and completely random. Unless you stumble upon grandpa's silver coin collection that one of the grand kids dumped at the bank!
I don’t pay a great deal of attention to the new ones. I do pull out all the 65 thru 99 quarters. I don’t know why. Been doing it for years and I have boxes full of 65-99 quarters. I hardly see those at all anymore.
