Hmm, I just might order a block of new $1 bills to see what I get. The order goes in Friday and I pick up next Wednesday so it will be 12-6 so maybe I will get lucky and get all new 2017 bills.

On the contrary I think it's a nice change of scene to be able to actually read the treasury secretary's name. Lew's signature is total chicken scratch (I can kind of make at an "e") and his predecessor's signature (Geithner) isn't much better. In fact, I would go so far as to say that not since the days of Robert E. Rubin have we had a treasury secretary's signature appear that was as clear and legible as Mnuchin's.
