2017 s Indiana quarter and 2018 s Georgia quarter

    You can also know by looking at the edge. If you don't see a copper layer then it's silver.

    They made 3 types of S quarters in 2017 and 2018.
    • Clad Uncirculated (sold only in rolls and bags from the mint)
    • Clad proof (in the proof set)
    • Silver proof (in the silver proof set)
    If I were to guess, someone bought a roll of the clad uncirculated, kept the gems and released the rest into the wild, but you could have one of the proofs, too.

    I don't think it is proof the edges have copper in it but I will look again thank you
