    I've seen this on a lot of the newer nickels. Die Deterioration. :(

    i saw the same doubling on a 2015 in the same spot too, I was thinking die deterioration but it looked so STRONG. wanted to double check.

    I know what you mean I've had to double check a lot of these to make sure. Gets the heart pumping a little. :)
