I haven't found one in this spot to date. Right in the OOOOOOOO. I pulled the next coin which you see in the last picture and I wonder if it was the beginning of the die chip? Hmmmm. Either way. Nice little die chip! IMG_6730.JPG IMG_6731.JPG IMG_6732.JPG IMG_6733.JPG

I have seen those Die Chips in the O before.
    Cool find.

You have a two-piece progression set there
of a die chip - fill in the progression, if you can.

    Good eyes...

Thanks @Fred Weinberg. I threw the tiny one back in the sea! I have a whole set, I would say 10-15 nickels (can't find the photo now) that have a progression on the left side of the monument of a slow forming die chip. I'll do a write up here one day on it. Thanks for the compliment!

As Fred said and I have found many nice Lincoln cent die crack progressions in solid date bank boxes.

I do more lincolns than anything and haven't had any luck seeing progressions. I don't get new boxes that often though. The one I have with 10-15 coins was a new box. The above two were out in the wild believe it or not!
