Or somebody finds an amazing roll and certifies a large # previously rare in that condition.</p><p><br /></p><p>In those cases, the supra-market premium disappears. Which is why I call it stupid - how do you know that out of the quarter-billion Ikes minted for some year in the 70s, there aren&#039;t a dozen MS69s sitting out there... waiting to be dropped off at PCGS and crater the market for the single top Pop MS68?</p><p><br /></p><p>And there are temporary rarities - say an 2017P cent with a major die crack.
