Loon is closed when I go in October. I had to make a special trip a couple August's ago just to see The Polar Caves and Ruggles Mine. Never stopped in at Nashua though. It took three trips to finally get to the top of Mt. Washington on the Cog. And it was -20 degrees. Got to spend a whole 10 minutes before they called us back.
Personally, I don't care for die cracks, cuds, lamination errors, clips, split planchets, railroad rims, or unknown object strike throughs. I also agree there are just too many attributions, but then people like what they like.
I was informed this coin in terms of value would be in the $35 to $40 range. So getting it graded seemed like a bad idea. But if those kinds of breaks are going for that lol,I may change my mind. I don't plan on selling it but for the future and to conserve the coin, would anyone recommend it or leave it in the airtight it's in? Thanks for the feedback in advance. And I wouldn't pay that kind of money for the coins shown, breaks like that from what I've seen are common.
