@tony esposito This one is not really an error. It is damaged. I found it in early January in a Home Depot store on the countertop of the key cutting section. Looks like they were messing around with it and cut it.... Where did you find this picture? I still have it...
Well I never sent you the picture of the damaged Cent. You assumed it's a Mint Error when it's not. Do you know who anna esposito is? Seems fishy
what has happened is that most of these pics are from others that are finding those errors. I have a lot of different errors that I have taken to my local coin shop, they have view some of the coins and said that they are errors. they have told me that out of every roll they have checked 40 out of 50 have minor errors, but they have found a lot of dbl dies. yes its someone in Kentucky that collects coins
look guys I started this thread for collectors to post any 2017 p cent error that they find so I can check all the rolls that I have
the first pic is the rolls I am working on that what is left of the first box, the second pic are the next 3 boxes I still to check, the third pic is of the coins I put back into circ., my mother is a branch manger at a large bank, when ever new coins come into the bank she tells me, then holds them till I get over there to pic them up. I'm from phila, moved down to sc 10 years ago, my uncle works at the mint, during this past Christmas he told me about these coins, so when the largest bank in sc gets them in I go over and snatch them up. if the coins don't have errors I just rewrap them and put the money back into my savings. now for these new coins I have dealers all over the west who cant get there hands on them I send them rolls or boxes for dbl my money. then I take the store credit and buy morgans and silver eagles. these dealers buy cents, nickles, dimes, quarters, halves from phila. I get them all in jan of every year. over the last month I have been going to flea markets. I put the rolls out there for 2.00 or 3 rolls for 5.00 so far ive got rid of 50+ boxes. so there is money to be made. so of course I will continue to open boxes to look for errors. my mom orders 50 boxes of each coin every month. I pick up most of them
