So, are you just posting Photos. @tony esposito. By the way, if you want to use the correct terminology. They are called interior die breaks, A CUD is directly related to the rim.
i have been reading about all the errors ive been reading about all the errors on the 2017 Lincoln cent, and when I see all the pictures online about the errors I open rolls and look for them I have a lot of boxes of Lincoln cents that my bank gets every month I have been checking 1 roll from the 4 open boxes to try to find one that doesn't have the p, a friend found one that the p was flat you can hardly see the p so I'm trying to find as many errors as I can I use the terminology that I see on the internet I have been collecting bu coins for 30 years. my 2 best sets are my morgans and my mercury dimes which I started to build in the 80's I have a 16d in ms60 and all my other mercury dimes are higher so all I'm doing is trying to learn about errors. so thank you for clearing that up
The "flat" P is a filled die, Although it may be possible for you to find a no "P" cent, What happens when you find it with Zinc rot, in the place that the MM should be? I would no longer be looking for the missing "P" but, the dropped element. When you search the web for another reference, to what your error is, or isn't? This is my usual go to site. http://www.error-ref.com/ How about a few full size pics of the coin in post #54, I would like to see what kind of error it is.
