I haven’t been posting much lately but rest assured I continue to lurk at CT and actively collect ancients. I hope everyone starts a thread highlighting their favorites from 2017. Classic great coins, with beautiful high detail. Thanks for sharing a credit to you. I can't see the pics for the bottom five, not sure if it's my computer or they haven't downloaded properly.

Nicely done sir! The Bactrian and Syracusan tetradrachms are my #1a and #1b by a long shot. Great year.

Real beauties all of them. Well done man, you are living the Ancient Greek numismatics high life. Now all you need is a smoking jacket, a Cuban cigar, and an apple martini, and you'd be the Godfather of Ancient Greek Coins.

Gosh, collect, what a relentless salvo of awesome! I was scrolling down the list and going "wow, I want that one!" with each coin. If I had to pick favorites, I'd go with the Baktrian tet, Tarentum nomos and Larissa drachm, and honestly, I think they're all great.

 

Awesome group! I especially like the Tarentum didrachm ... a most beautiful specimen.

My favs of the OP's:

 

You say there is no particular order but the way I would rank them is much like the order as shown. I'd drop the Kroton to #8 but can't really explain why I am not as big a fan of that type compared to the other incuses.

 

Great coins love the SICILY, Syracuse best.
